Test Results

Test Results

In order to properly monitor the progress of your treatment, we ask that you send us your test results at the intervals indicated by your doctor, as soon as you receive them from the testing laboratory and not wait for seeing your oncologist in person. You can do that in any of the following ways:

1. By Email

This is the fastest and most convenient and most secure method. All you have to do is attach a copy or image of the test results to an email that you send directly to your oncologist secure mail box. It will only be seen by him or her.

These email addresses are controlled according the privacy and security policies of COT and GDPR and are accessible only by the named oncologist. For your convenience we have included a direct link for test results on the home page of this website

2. By Fax

If you have no access to email, then Fax is the next most convenient method to send the test results. Use our Fax number and make sure that the fax sent has an exact and complete copy of the test result document

3. In Person

Either by yourself or by a family member or friend.

Once we receive these results, a member of our team will contact you to inform you of the assessment of these test results. You will also be contacted if it is necessary to make any changes to your treatment or change your forthcoming appointment.  In the unlikely case that you send in your test results by email or Fax but do not hear from us within 24 hours, you are kindly asked to call the office and enquire if we have received your tests.

At your next visit to your doctor please remember to bring along with you all your recent test results even if you have sent them to us already.  In case of imaging scans we urge you to bring your previous scans, in order for your doctor to be able to compare all your exams and assess your progress. Also you should bring with you the instructions your doctor gave you the last time you were in the office.
