The Contemporary Oncology Team (COT) is the first non-US oncology group to be certified by ASCO’s new quality control program, “ASCO Certified”. Achieving this certification demonstrates COT’s strong and ongoing commitment to assessing the quality of oncology care it offers, which is aligned with national and international quality and safety criteria. After all, this is COT’s second first in this field, as in 2016 it received a corresponding accreditation within the framework of a similar program of ASCO (Quality Certification Program). In 2019 our clinic achieved re-certification for 3 additional years, and now the new certification.

The ASCO Certified program certifies groups that meet specific and detailed criteria based on evidence-based scientific evidence from ASCO’s Oncology Medical Home (OMH) and the Community Oncology Alliance (COA).
