Evangelia Razi

Medical Oncologist

Dr. Razis studied medicine in the Honors program in Medical Education of Northwestern University, Chicago, IL. She completed her residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, and her Oncology Fellowship at New York Medical College/Westchester County Medical Center. She then received a Ph.D. in Medicine in Greece. She has worked at Hygeia Hospital since January 1994 and is currently the Director of the 3rd Oncology department since September 2011. In the Spring of 2016, Dr. Razis led her practice to the first ever Quality certification by ASCO for an international practice, and is a member of the ASCO Quality Steering Group and International Affairs Committee as well as the EORTC breast cancer and brain tumor groups. In the latter she chairs the Quality Assurance Group and is part of the Steering Committee.

She has worked voluntarily in Sri Lanka, in the Honduras, in Zimbabwe, in the Sudan, in Rwanda and in Kefalonia, Greece. Her specific areas of interest include Breast Cancer and Neuro-oncology. She actively participates in a number of Medical Associations and cooperative groups, and has published over 90 papers, has presented several abstracts and posters in international congresses and meetings, and has organized and taught international educational workshops with ASCO and the European Association of Neuro-Oncology.

George Rigakos

Medical Oncologist

Born in Sparta in 1979, Dr Rigakos completed his medical education in the Medical School of National University of Athens in 2003. This was followed by a MSc in Molecular Medicine with honours,  Residency in Internal Medicine  at Laiko University hospital in Athens in 2011 and fellowship in medical oncology in Alexandra University hospital in Athens and Royal Marsden hospital in London UK in 2014…more
