Follow-up

After effective treatment of cancer, patients need to be closely monitored by their oncologist for any recurrence of the tumor and delayed side effects of treatment. Our Oncologists will monitor the patient progress through periodic follow up and medical examinations at intervals ranging from 3 to 12 months, depending on the case. They will discuss what lifestyle changes should be made, if necessary, and suggest the necessary tests for each visit and evaluate the results with the patient. The interval between follow-up visits increases as the time of remission increases

Treatment Coordination

Some patients may need additional examinations, second opinions or treatments to be performed in centers or by specialists outside Greece. Our team, through the close scientific and professional relations it has with international cancer centers and also with prominent specialists in the treatment of cancer abroad, can offer substantial co-supervision and coordination with all the disciplines that may be required for the completion of the diagnostic and therapeutic process by these centers and specialists.
