Kalliope Stathaki

Current Position: Oncology Nurse of the Contemporary Oncology Team

Born in Athens in 1982, Kalliope Stathaki studied Nursing at the Higher Technical Educational Institute of Crete, from where she graduated in 2008 presenting a thesis entitled “Registration of Internet addiction and its impact on nursing students” scoring a 9.5 grade.

Miss Stathaki did her residency at “Metaxa” and “Aiginition” Hospitals.
Under a grant from the EU for further practice, she trained at the Intensive Care Unit and Surgery at the hospital “Henry Dunant”.
In 2008 she worked as a nurse at the children’s camping site “Asimakopoulou”. After that she worked as a nurse at a pharmacy for eighteen months and as deputy head of floor in a private medical clinic.

She joined the Contemporary Oncology Team in December 2010
